Clement's 6th Birthday & Farm visit

So, with so many photos over the past month, I've split them into two blog posts! This is post 2 of 2! On Saturday last week, Clement turned 6! The kids always look forward to birthdays and spring is fun with Benjamin in March and Clement exactly a month later in April. Now a slight break until Elijah turns 3 at the beginning of June! Well, Peter does have a birthday next month, but he's not worried about a fuss. ;-) lol And then all is quiet until October & November. [phew!]

Birthday boy and his cake!
The cake! He'd requested Moshi Monsters on it - and I thought the "Moshi Karts" would make a fun race track theme. The internet is great for cake ideas. I must admit, I'd have never thought of making a road in the shape of a number! :-)

Clement had already built his Lego swamp police station by lunchtime!

Pleased with his new Lego set!

Concentrating on Lego building!

Sticker book time with siblings :-)

"Why do you keep taking photos of me today?!" lol

On Wednesday this week, a friend from church invited several mums and children round to see the baby lambs on their farm! It was great fun - both chatting over coffee and the kids getting to cuddle the lambs! :-) Elijah loved them!

A bit blurry, but love his sweet & happy face here!

Looks like he's trying to kiss the lamb! lol

Such an amazing view of the sea from the farm!

Was the cake which was made for Clement's 6th birthday, part of a "class" Home Economics exercise?, or was it case of "teacher" Sincedoing it when "class" were ALL tucked up in bed? Since "teacher" has a class full at home, would it not have been easier to buy a cake? PS it does look yummy and delicious. D in Glasgow

It might be easier to buy a cake, but not as fun as baking it yourself - nor as yummy as homemade! :)

Whwn "teacher" has spent the whole day in "class", surely the last thing she wants to do when her "pupils" are in bed is to bake especially when she will probably be V Tired? PS I totally agree with the comment you put on Evelyn Smith Auckland N Z's Blog re the recent pictures. THEY ARE BRILLIANT. D in Glasgow

Hope you enjoyed having your cousin Carl Smith, his wife and family staying at your "holiday home" in Tain while Carl attended the Synod Meetings in Inverness Rachel. PS what was Carl's Wife's maiden surname before she married your Cousin Carl? hope you are ALL well too. D in Glasgow

My cousin and his family just arrived this evening. It's really good to see them all again! :-) His wife Stephanie is an American, so not someone you would have known.

We are all well here and recently had a week's holiday in Yorkshire. When I get a few spare minutes at some point, I hope to upload some photos on here.

Hope you are all well there.
