We are well through March, and this is only my second blog post this year. It is looking likely that 2015 will have the least posts since I started this blog 8 years ago! I think I just make the posts impossibly long, and with far too many photos at a time - so more like several posts in one! ;-)
| I certainly take a LOT of photos of wee Fergus! He's just soooo much fun, that I can't help but take photos of him! These were taken last week at 20 weeks old. I can hardly belive that he's coming up to 5 months old next week! He's growing up toooo fast! |
| Fergus is really taking an interest in everything around him, and grabs *anything* he can get his hands on. He hasn't yet rolled over or done any major moving about - I think he's too fat! ;-) LOL But he certainly uses his hands a lot! |
| His brothers were very excited to see he could join in with Duplo and grab the pieces. But they weren't so sure about the wet bricks put back in after he chewed on them! [oops!] |
| A few weeks ago at 4 months - he weighed 18lbs 8oz, so is certainly putting on the pounds! |
| 19 weeks old here |
| At nearly 17 weeks |
| He loves to hang out on my back in the sling ... |
| ... his smile proves it! :-) |
| He's had a cold for weeks - hopefully he'll soon get over the cough and stuffy nose. He wasn't looking quite his smiling self here. |
| Me and my smallest boy and smallest girl! |
| Last week my biggest boy turned 8! :-) |
| Looking to see what Moshlings they'll find inside! |
| Benjamin opening presents |
| Looking pleased with what he's finding inside! |
| Lego is always exciting! |
| Yes, birthdays usually mean bricks (and wrapping paper!) all over the floor! :-P |
| Already captivated by a birthday book |
| Cake - he requested Wallace and Gromit figures on top. And he wanted them to be something he could keep and play with later - so that was nice & easy! |
| Candles |
| Birthday boy and his mama |
| As if I haven't posted enough photos of him already - he was delighted with Elijah's cuddly spider "Woolly"! |
| "Oh, are you watching me?!" :-D |
| We've been learning about cells in our anatomy & physiology curriculum, and the kids were very excited when there was a suggested activity to make an edible cell. We used jelly (Jell-o in USA) and various sweeties (candy) for the parts of the cell. They all had a lot of fun - and was even better that a couple of their friends were over for the afternoon to join in! :-) |
| Deborah's cell |
| Abigail and Rebekah's |
| Benjamin's cell |
| We had lots of sunshine last week, which was enjoyed by all of us! |
| One final photo - dear Fergus sleeping on my back this afternoon! |
I guess I'd better get this posted. I can't think of anything out of the ordinary happening here - just plenty of the usual daily stuff! A few of the family have come down with a worse cold or possibly virus of some sort this week, so yet to see who will get it next. Fergus hasn't quite cleared the cold he got over 3 weeks ago, so really hoping he doesn't get something worse on top of it.
