I'm finally adding the final photos from our recent holiday. As I said in my last post, while in Newcastle we had a trip to Ikea. I rather love Ikea and could spend all day in their amazing store - and I'm sure this one was much larger than Edinburgh (the only other Ikea I'd been to). We've only ever visited Ikea in an evening, which I guess is good - as it means I've only ever had a limited time in the store, before they close for the day! :-P The only thing we bought this time, was two small £1 stuffed toys for Elijah and Fergus! LOL That's because we spent all our time exploring kitchen ideas and looking at cupboard layouts, etc. Oh, and had a yummy dinner in their cafe too. But yeah, we spent so long doing research in the kitchen department, that there wasn't time to grab anything else to buy. Oh well, at least Edinburgh does a very economical delivery service using Parcel Force, for when we *do* need to buy anything! As for the kids, they think a trip to Ikea is lots of fun ....

| ..... dare I admit we forgot Clement was on this sofa, and went round for about 10-15 min before I realised we were one child short! [oops] He was *still* like this - he never even knew we were gone! He said the book was very interesting, and had lots of complicated words in it! |

| On Thursday we spent most of the day with the Mohons - it's always lovely to see them all again! In the afternoon we met up with the "younger Mohon family" at a local park. The children had lots of fun together. |

On the Friday we met up with a homeschooling family that lived near where we were staying. We had a lovely day together - picnic and exploring a deer park. |

Leaving the lovely house in Masham on the following Monday. This is the 2nd house we stayed in - a much better (more convenient) location than the one we started out in. Comparing the car left in the village at the bottom of the hill, to the photo above - with car at the door of the house! :-) It was a real blessing to find this place, and also meant we extended our holiday by an extra weekend, which was even better! |

| The location was even more convenient considering Co-op supermarket was just behind our house! Just had to walk through the gap between the wooden fence and the brick wall there. It was great being able to leave all the kids at the house with Peter and pop into the shop all alone to get food for dinner, etc. :-) |

| One advantage of being away was that I *finally* finished a crochet project that I started "only" 7+ months ago! Before Fergus was born, I started a rainbow blanket for Elijah, because he *loves* colours - esp rainbows. Most of it was done over various trips out in the car - I always take my crochet along, as it's about the only time I get to sit down with nothing else to do! :-) So all the driving with going down south helped me make further progress, and then on the Saturday before we went home, I had a couple of hours just sitting around in the house, and it finally got done. |
